Transfer Your Citation

If you are the owner of a vehicle that someone else was driving at the time in which a citation was issued, you may be able to transfer the citation to the driver. Look at the back of your citation to determine if this option is available to you. If you are unsure, call 855-252-0086.

To transfer a citation, print out the "Transfer of Liability" form below from the jurisdiction in which you received your citation, and follow the instructions listed on the form. If the incorrect form is selected and submitted for your citation, it will be denied. 

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU RECEIVED A CITATION IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA or IOWA, STATE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW A "TRANSFER OF LIABILITY". YOU WILL NEED TO SCHEDULE A COURT CASE AND SPEAK WITH A JUDGE. YOU MAY VISIT THE "CONTEST YOUR CITATION" TAB ABOVE TO FIND THE PROPER FORM TO DO SO.
